This week we went off on our own to discover what science fiction was in regards to our theme. The group chose to discover how life on other planets can define what science fiction is, Mr. Shoenborn let us go do what we wanted, in regards to what assignments we get done and in what order we get them done.
I find this type of learning to be very amazing. We get to do what we find interesting and at our own pace. However, even though we are alone we still get tons of help from Mr. Shoenborn and it really helps us out.
Unfortunately, a couple items on the list mainly the "Demon with a Glass hand" Outer limits episode did not quite fit with our theme of life on other planets. Even though yes it did technically have aliens in it, it was still set on earth and it was more about time travel than it was about aliens. Overall, however this has been a great week and it looks very promising going forward.
