In this episode a town is terrorized by a 6 year old boy, named Anthony, who has the power to read minds and change people and things if they displease him. They entire town are hostages and must always think and say nice things no matter how awful things really are. The kid hates everyone who hates him, and eventually enough everyone does not like him.
This is really good example of mutant children, this is due to the fact that he is the only child that can make an entire country just disappear and can do what ever he pleases. Anthony has become basically the god of this town, and the people are utterly terrified of him. It is very strange that the populous refused to kill him. Like they had many opportunities to do so and they wasted them so why did they not do it. It begs the question do they like it more Anthony's way over the normal, conventional life? Why do they enjoy his torture more than being normal? Does the boy have the power to influence thoughts as well, and if so does he make people he does not like, not like him on purpose so he has a reason to banish them?
